Saint Margaret Mary

Under the Guidance of Our Lady of Good Counsel, St. Margaret Mary Council of Catholic Women (SMMCCW) strives to provide a trusting connection to the Body of Christ.  We aim to support and empower all women of St. Margaret Mary in spirituality, leadership, and relationship through education and service.

Our meetings are the 3rd Monday every other month beginning in September.  We strive to celebrate mass before at 6:30pm and the meeting at 7:00pm.  We gather as friends as well, sometimes participating in a craft, treats or a presentation.

Our officers this year are President – Corinn Wheeler; Vice President – Deb Datweiler; Recording Secretary – Janice Schneider; Treasurer – Mary Ann Wagner

With the goal of supporting local and foreign charities, we have two fundraisers during the year a No-Bake Christmas Sale during Advent and a Night in Italy in March.  The funds raised at these events are given to purchase Christmas gifts for elderly clients at Catholic Charities, Boxes of Joy given to children in need, cards and notes of encouragement through the Ministry of Care committee, to name a few.

We support various ministries in our parish as well by providing time, talent and treasure to the Eucharistic Ministry, Lector ministry, Music ministry, Religious Education ministry, Altar and Linen Ministry and Respect Life Ministry.
